A movie I saw this morning on DishTV.

It was "Van Helsing". Totally ridiculous. Had vampires, werewolves, Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale, but was enjoyable because the art and costume and set departments had very high standards because they obviously were imaginative and had money to work with.

At the beginning the angry villagers are burning down the windmill with Frankenstein's monster in it. Pitchforks, torches and mob anger.

Hubby walked in the den and said, "What is this?"

I said, "Probably the Democratic National Convention." He laughed.
