Hell(er) to the Naw! Heller wants Obama voters to crossover for Nevada Senate Race

U.S. Sen. Dean Heller is in a bit of an awkward position as a Republican who has spent years in Congress staking out a conservative position. By his own admission, Heller is relying on Barack Obama voters to hand him a re-election victory.

“There are plenty of crossover voters,” Heller said. “I see plenty of Obama-Heller voters, but I don’t see too many Romney-Berkley voters.

“I clearly need the Obama voters to win.”

... But if Heller is counting on the Obama vote for his own victory, does that mean he’s written off a Romney victory in Nevada? Not necessarily.

1. Heller can go to hell

I am not optimistic that Shelley Berkley will win. Crossroads, AKA: Karl Rove and other out-of-state SuperPacs spent a fortune on vicious ads. They have been relentless. If Berkley unseats "appointee" Heller (NV gov. chose him to replace hypocritical philanderer, John Ensign) it will be a huge victory for the coattails.

2. Loving these bandwagon GOPers

Isn't McMahon in Connecticut trying a "Vote for Obama ... (and me!)" strategy too? If that's not a sign of defeat, I don't know what is!

3. Shelley should come out and say the same thing!

It's not genius, it's just smart to ride Obama's coattails.

Unfortunately, bait-and-switch Heller is a rubber stamp Republican and will do everything in his power to obstruct Obama. He needs to go!
