I don't think SS agents' right to freedom of speech should extend

to being able to write self-serving tell-alls after they leave their positions.

How can Presidents trust having these people close by, knowing that they might try to profit by spinning juicy "revelations" about them?

Aren't Presidents entitled to ANY personal privacy?

And not a way to get good people into the White house, unless they were wealthy enough to pay for their own personal protection.

If the Don manages to get elected, I bet he would bring his own people in. He's already indicated that he wouldn't want to live in the White House.

I agree it's incredibly tactless and low-brow for an SS agent to do a tell-all, but there's a freedom of speech issue at hand.

Perhaps they should get them to sign NDA's? A POTUS shouldn't have to worry that their protectors are listening to every word and will profit from it later.

It is sad - it seems to be the world we live in now though eh? Money is all important. Wealth and power and absolutely NO honor. Gosh I remember when a candidate would never have spoken about their private parts....or other stuff that is now fodder for debates.

The world is different - better in many ways - really weird in some.
