Both of them have held elected office and have served in and around government for years, and recognized the basic constraints of the Constitution and the separation of powers.

Donald Trump has none of those attributes.

the character of the candidate: angry, autocratic, and ... quite frankly ... somewhat irrational. I'm so grateful this is over. Though I fear for the Convention.

up losing, and it never is warm and fuzzy.

Nothing in this about Bernie himself is damning in any way.

ANYONE who has risen to the level he has risen has a pretty darn big ego.

And, nothing he he has said or done has been even remotely across the line for a political campaign, this shit isn't high tea. Its rough and tumble.

I voted Bernie, but have known all along Hillary was going to win.

IMO,they both were very strong and good candidates who ran good campaigns.

He just ran up against someone who was a nice foil, but at the same time simply had too much name and support.

even if--and I'm not saying this is the case--he's the most miserable prick in the universe, you don't go running to the press to shank him like that

regardless of political orientation. It's the autopsy of where it went wrong - and instrumental for other pols (or strategists) to watch and keep an eye on with what they do.

Doubly important in this season because it can help readjust other campaigns downticket going forward into the general.

A lot of presupposition around these parts was that it was Weaver in the forefront and Devine in the background running things - at least until Devine disappeared mostly back to Rhode Island. This is now saying that Sanders was even more involved in the nuts and bolts of the decisions and that puts more of the onus on him for the end result.

Final answer: Dude is a madman... All this time I thought it was the emoprogs who hijacked his campaign and took it to places he didn't necessarily want it to go.

But I didn't know until this day that it was Bernie all along....
