Hell, most states don't even count absentee ballots unless there's enough that they could affect the outcome...

I used to think election finance reform needed to be our #1 priority. Sadly, I now believe election monitoring & fairness needs to be our #1 priority. We must demand same-day registration for people who have been mysteriously kicked off the voter rolls. We must demand through public protests an end to the use of voting machines. As in, we will let it be known we will not believe the results of any voting-machine-based result. Then we must demand a methodical, accurate, and slow public counting of the paper ballots. I don't care if it takes six days to count the votes instead of six hours. We can wait. Our democracy is worth it.

If we had done it this way, Hillary wouldn't have broken 40% of the vote. Her invisible "popularity" is the biggest fraud I have ever seen. Most people think it, too, but are afraid to be the little boy who announces that the emperor has no clothes.

in dire need of fixing. But before we can fix anything we must regain a representative form of government.

To do that we need more participation.

We need to ensure the public that we can fix the system dominated by the Rich.

we need honest media coverage.

we need national election laws
Paper ballots that can be counted by machine but verified if needed by hand
End political gerrymandering and massive voter disenfranchisement
End caucuses
End super-delegates
Exit polling as part of the system.
Auto registration upon 18th birthday.
Open primaries

post the link to the redacted tonight video that discusses what trustvote is going to do about this but they pounced on this news once already and got it banned. They are going to court over this.

They based their conclusions on only partial data that they hand-selected.

"The Institute of American Democracy and Election Integrity, The Institute of Contemporary Journalism and Democracy Counts see an opportunity at this time to initiate exit polls and election audits in select locations in California where Sanders has done much campaigning to attempt to give a perspective on the accuracy of the electronic vote totals and to help educate citizens about election integrity."

Also, how do you think they did exit polls on the mail-in ballots in those areas? Telepathy?

Don't believe everything you read.

The majority of them are mail in ballots which skew older and are probably largely Clinton voters. And the biggest numbers of uncounted ballots are in big cities like Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, which all went overwhelmingly for Clinton. There is no conspiracy here. These votes will continue to be counted over the next month. The CA primary isn't certified until July 8. And as these votes are counted, Clinton's lead could possibly even grow. Even if Sanders somehow squeaks out a small margin of victory in CA it doesn't get him anywhere near the number of delegates he needs to win the nomination. It's over.

The very same reason they can call it for hillary with 2 million ballots uncounted, is the same reason they call races when only 1% of polls have come in. They can look at the demographics of the remaining votes and estimate with a high level of certainty that Hillary will still be the winner. It's not that complicated folks.

There is no way the results of the California elections will be reversed.
