We have to get rid of the voting machines as well

as the electronic scanners. These are privately owned
softwares, which are controlled by partisan companies.

Even President Carter said that our voting system is
so bad that international observers cannot check it
at all. The reason for that is that each county, state
even municipalities have different rules.

For federal offices at least that should be changed
to a system, which applies to all 50 states.

but that is nothing compared to a primary or
national election for the whole country.

Cheating by having controls over the machines
by heavily invested CEOs or their companies may just
become a reason not to vote at all.

They wanted a paper trail, so now they have one. Not all voting machines are bad, just the ones that don't leave a trail.
