the protestors need to make it VERY clear that what they asking for is merely a vote on the legislation put forward and that the reason Ryan won't allow the proposed legislation to come to vote is to give cover to the cowards who don't want to go on the record with their votes. He knows the majority of Americans want reasonable and effective gun laws but he also knows those GOPers running for office want to piss off the NRA who owns them or piss off the voters who will be voting for or against them this coming election.

I would keep pushing the meme that they are COWARDS. Cowards who think more of the NRA than their constituents.

I just wanted to add that I also think it would be a good idea to appeal to NRA members who also want reasonable gun law reform to rescind their memberships with the NRA as George Bush did.
