1. Yes. The problem(s) -- those who vote for a white wing racist like Trump.

2. The "good folk" will do just fine. It is the sad lot of selfish white people that will struggle.

3. I posted over 6 months ago that Trump was not the problem
I thought at the time that the problem was the people who would vote for him and that we better start calling them out.
My suggestion that we brand them racists etal was met with some disdain. People here at DU thought it was not proper for "democrats" to resort to name calling and shaming of the Republican base. I think we now know who the enemy is and it is not Trump, he is just a fool taking advantage of a unruly mob. We must stand up to these bullies and not back down. |

7. Find this interesting! Difficult problem.
Besides calling them out, what other solutions do you think are there. This is bad! real bad problem.

9. The Republicans have had no qualms finding ways to shame Democrats
The list of names we have been called is too long to list.
We have been the recipients of their attacks for decades and now is the time to strike back. Now if we only had a liberal media source to start branding them as the fascists they are----wonder where we could find one? From my talks with a few of my more conservative friends, they feel the same way. I tell them it is their responsibility to reel in the hatred of there own party. I wish I or anyone would come up with a way to smack us back into reality. Even the Churches are silent. |

6. I remember in particular that Pat Buchanan speech
During the 1992 RNC convention.
Thankfully, we are able to defeat the Dark Forces in that election. |

8. yes. Kind of too bad the media focus this morning is on plagiarism instead of
the hateful, dark, unhinged quality of many of the speeches. Really strange and scary.
Republicans scaring republicans with lies. |
