Football ruled everything in West Texas.

I was one of the first Title IX girls to play little league with the boys in middle school. Central field even.

Hockey didn't exist in my world then. Now that I live in Virginia, I do occasionally watch the Wizards, but I just never got into basketball. Never the Redskins though. I was a Houston Oiler fan until they defected to TN. Never got over that one.
