URGENT: "Heat Dome over America" ad needed immediately by Dems

If I was the D party or a D PAC or Hillary - I would immediately start running ads all through the next week highlighting the MASSIVE HEAT DOME now afflicting the USA.

The ads would show Trump, Pence, and the Republican Party lying about climate change. It would expose the RAW DANGER of their official platform.

I would aim the ad not just at the Republican candidates for President and VP - but at the whole, lying pack of Republicans. Make them pay the price for their damaging lies and denial. Win back the Senate and House by making the Republicans pay for their lies.

The ad would say something like:

COME NOVEMBER, REMEMBER:
Who has been lying to you about climate change.
Who has been blocking any and all attempts to deal with it.

Who has acknowledged the facts and the reality of climate change?
Who has a plan to do something about it?

COME NOVEMBER, REMEMBER:
You have a choice between sanity and insanity.
Choose sanity. For yourself, for your children, and for your grandchildren.

...it's likely that this July is month #15 coming after a stunning, unprecedented 14 consecutive months of record high temperatures. So while it's accurate to say it's weather, it's also accurate to say it's weather that is part of a massive and dangerous climate change pattern that is now well underway (according to the vast majority of climate scientists).

It's July now, of course. And the heat is on track to make it the 15th consecutive month. So while weather is not climate change, 15 consecutive months of record-shattering heat is not "weather.'

Republicans are smirking away merrily in their air-conditioned caverns, while they continue to lie about what is going on just outside their doors. NOW - while we are all sweltering in the ugly reality that the Republicans lie about and systematically deny - is the time to rub their faces in reality.

13. Good points. I totally support following through on long-term strategies...

...but I also think that a nimble and sharp focus on something that almost everyone in the country is suffering through right now would pay dividends in the long run for all the House and Senate races, as well as the national. The Republicans are totally culpable, and in the brutal heat of these days they are also vulnerable.

Maybe there's a organization out there somewhere that can pick up on the sizzling reality of the moment, and use a quickie NINJA ad on TV ad to remind people that the Republicans are telling them dangerous lies, and doing nothing.
