I can't stand that show - but am really curious as to how Scar is spinning it.

In my opinion, that long-winded droning session from Trump supplied enough BS to keep all of the farmland in the U.S. fertilized for the next 100 years.
ABC spoke to a delegate who was moved to tears when Trump promised fair treatment for LGBTs. She apparently has a family member who is gay. First, why would any WOMAN want to be a delegate at that convention, given Trump's extremely misogynistic attitude and behavior toward women? Second, the RNC platform is a hate-monger's manual on hating and discriminating against LGBTs.
How can anyone in their right minds want to be even remotely associated with such an event?
Oh! Wait! Never mind.
I can sense the collective IQ of the State of Ohio increasing as these idiots are leaving Cleveland.

(58,785 posts)happy and obviously relieved that their guy showed himself to be a real candidate. I missed most, but they also went on to agree that the angry, dystopian tone was going to hurt him outside his base. I don't think they would admit that if they thought he had any chance at all to win.
Tears at his concern for LGBTs, huh? Lol.
From what I could see by fast-forward scanning, Trump did deliver his speech very well, the dreadful content aside. Darn, because I was really hoping he'd veer off to serve some classic trumpisms up to that eager crowd, but that didn't happen.
