2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumGallup: Trump's speech the worst ever tested
I interrupt our regularly scheduled bickering over the protests to give some good news:
Trump's speech got the least positive reviews of any speech we have tested after the fact: 35% of Americans interviewed last weekend said it was excellent or good. Of the nine previous speeches we have rated, the top one was Barack Obama's in August 2008, which 58% of Americans rated as excellent or good.

Hopefully this is something we can all be happy about.

so the Donald will probably see this as a good thing.

That Trump's traction came from the FBI report.

I was just about to jump over to the the LBN forum, and as I was clicking, I saw a glimpse of this thread, only reading "Gallup: Trump" before the screen changed. I thought, "Oh, come on! Is it really a headline like "Gallup: Trump up by 4"? So, I reluctantly came back to see the thread properly.
You can imagine the smile that broke over my face!
