!!!!! I want everyone to start thinking about the VERY unsexy Mid-Term elections. And start planning for them, and be ready to fight for them the way we did for 2012. That is the key to our success in getting those fucking teabillies out of Congress!!!

(41,832 posts)like what happened in 2010. Vote for Democrats even if they are a blue dog. Be pragmatic for once.

(18,672 posts)and I want to help push for voter reform in any way I can. What we saw yesterday was unbelievable. I love this country, and Republicans are making a mockery of the freedoms those before us sacrificed, fought, suffered and died for. Enough of gerrymandering! Enough of partisan SOS's suppressing and stealing the vote for their candidate! Enough of minorities, the poor and the elderly waiting in long lines because partisan Governors and SOS's refuse to provide adequate polling places and equipment!
Let's take back the house and give Obama a Democratic Congress!
On edit: President Obama inspired me with his speech last night. It may have not been one of his most flowery, but it cut me to the core. I felt such a calm and purpose while listening to him. Being a good citizen does not end with casting your vote. That is just the beginning.

(1 post)It's hard for me to imagine that the Obama team will let the Republicans take over the momentum again like they did in 2009. There has got to be something underway from the campaign at this point, right? Has anyone heard anything? I'm so willing to do whatever I can to make sure 2014 is as much of a surprise for them as 2012 was. Let's get this ball rolling, stat!
