Trump quitting is just GOP wishful thinking.

Theres no indication I've seen that he is considering quitting just the opposite, hes crowing about his amazing success.

if the GOP wants him to step down so badly now, how the hell could they possibly want to help him win if he doesn't leave?
Could they bear 4 solid years of this guy being the voice of the Republican Party?

So their choice is to turn against their own candidate enmasse and suffer the disastrous consequences or help him win and risk 4 years Mr nightmare with its own disastrous consequences.

They lied and wheedled all the buffoons and malcontents they could into their party in order to get votes and now it's payback time.
