A HERETIC I AM

Trump is toast.

There is no way the American electorate will prefer him over Madam Secretary.

No way in the world.

I suggested in a thread the other day (subsequently deleted for lack of interest) that there are too many folks who do the real work in DC to ever let him be the dictator he apparently aspires to be, but the fact is, of those that WILL vote in the General Election, he can't win. His backers are loud, boisterous, obnoxious and tend to violence. Most Americans are NOT like that.

There is simply no way. The number of voters who actually think is a far greater number than the voters who don't, and I say that knowing I'm smarter than half of them, statistically speaking..

Every statement he makes, every soundbite he generates, gives fodder to Madam Secretary's campaign.

THIS WILL BE A WALKOVER FOR HILLARY.

(and for the record, she wasn't my first choice, but OK....I'll vote for her!)

Exit polls reflecting the same.

And let's hope our electronic voting systems have a backup.

I watched part of his rally speech yesterday out of Portland, Maine. Interesting. It was clear someone had drilled through that dense skull of his and he dialed it back. Sure it was still nuts and ugly (attacking Somalian refugees, of which there are a substantial number in Maine), but he largely stayed on message.

He won't be able to maintain it and in any case, it won't be enough.

I worry so much about the 17 day olympics and what that will do to the minds of voters.

I agree it's Clinton's to lose but too far out to call it. Look for the "Hillary hate" to spike in October and God only knows the attack ads Trump and anti-Clinton PACs will run. GOTV! We need to take the Senate back!

Koch and his comrades are restless, and there money is going somewhere, be it GOP dark horse, Johnson, or Congressional candidates. Defeating Trump won't mean much if he is this weak.
