Has to be killing Trump to not be able to crow about Polls when he did nothing but talk about them all primary season.

7. The national polls this year seem out of synch with the state polls

Hillary is leading by near double digits in NC, ahead or tied in GA, tied in IN, down only 6 in TX. There's no way for those things to be true and also have Hillary only be leading by a couple of percent in the national polls. I have a feeling that the likely voter models are substantially underestimating her support. That said, the only poll that counts is Nov. 8. VOTE!

538 also notes that the state polls were more predictive of Obama's large EV win in 2012 than the national polls that showed a close race with Rmoney.
