We only have the story that Christie agreed to settle Trumps NJ tax debt of $30 million for $5 million. Nice if you can get it. And bad enough. But what did Christie get?
Campaign donations, for example? Corporate jet rides? Inquiring minds want to know.

what did Christie get in exchange for reducing ExxonMobil's liability for environmental damage to pennies on the dollar? What did he give away to Jerry Jones in exchange for a luxury weekend at a Cowboys playoff game? What did he give away for a family outing at the Kempensky Hotel paid for by the King of Jordan? We know he got substantial campaign donations in exchange for giving United Airlines benefits at Newark Airport. I can go on, but what's the point? Everything with Christie is "transactional". Nothing sticks. Public service is a big scheme for him to enrich himself and his cronies. The efficiency with which he hoovers up the benefits is actually quite impressive. There had to be some quid pro quo in the Trump tax deal as well. Was this the only time he didn't secure something for himself? I doubt it.
