"As the story swirling around the Russian-hacked, Wikileaks-released body of e-mails from seven staffers of the Democratic National Committee (abbreviated as DNC and the brain trust/leadership organization for the Democratic Party) unfolded just before and during the Democratic National Convention, it came to light that some of these staffers had discussed Bernie Sanders in a critical manner and discussed ways to bring negative attention to his candidacy.
Cue one of the most overblown scandals in recent memory."

(7,473 posts)He's sort of saying that they went after Bernie but that was OK because Bernie and his followers weren't Democrats. In fact, they never went after Bernie at all. I've been challenging since those E-mails came out for somebody to come up with a single one that shows an actual action that influenced the outcome of the election. Nobody has shown me one yet.
A few of the E-mails are just DNC officers talking about Bernie behind his back. There were ideas that went nowhere. There was no rule against that. The others are plans to defend the DNC from smears from Bernie. Defending against smears from Bernie was not unfairly intervening in the outcome of the election.
