He f*cking "APOLOGIZED." Of course, it's fake. But if you were looking for the Breitbart pivot...

...just realize this happened about 30 seconds after Trump brought Bannon on board. The snake is already slithering through the grass, and some people will believe this horseshit.

Trump says he regrets comments that may have caused pain

WASHINGTON (AP) — For the first time since declaring his presidential run, Republican Donald Trump expressed regret for saying things that may have hurt people.

“Sometimes in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing. I have done that,” the GOP nominee, reading from prepared text, said at a rally in Charlotte, N.C. “And believe it or not, I regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain.”

He added: “Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues.” As the crowd cheered, Trump pledged to “always tell you the truth.”

The remarks came as Trump makes significant changes to a campaign that has struggled since the Democratic and Republican nominating conventions from self-created distractions. Earlier Thursday, Trump moved to invest nearly $5 million in battleground state advertising to address daunting challenges in the states that will make or break his White House ambitions. He also shook up his campaign in recent days, tapping a combative conservative media executive, Stephen Bannon, to serve as CEO of the campaign.

True colors show through. Let's hope Bannon and Trump's natural combativeness and prickishness will show through.

Just cause he say he regrets it after being the most bigoted candidate ever for an entire year, and now that he's losing big...the folks who buy that shit actually never minded what he's been saying for an entire year and actually longer!

You don't say sorry and move on after you've acted like a disabled man while mocking him, you don't move on from saying someone is a murderer or rapist because their skin is brown. You don't move on from accusing a gold star family of a vicious attack because he questioned your non existent morals. Trump is NOT even close to being qualified to run for POTUS and I don't give a shit what lying sack of shit he brings on board to run his campaign. He is not redeemable and every reasonable person with half a brain in this country knows it. There are NOT enough of them to get it done. We need to keep working to get Clinton elected.

The dirty games are under way, but their strategy is for Dim Don to stay out of the fray.

people already trying to bolster his "rehabilitiation."

I am consoled by the fact that every time I have thought this before, he's come out with something to make even more people hate him.

It seems like the more Trump acts like a normal politician, he will lose the people who saw something different in him
