New Analysis: Even South Carolina And Kansas Aren't Sure Bets For Trump

A new Electoral College analysis by the University of Virginia's Center for Politics reveals that the map is only growing for Hillary Clinton and even South Carolina and Kansas have moved from "safe Republican" to "likely Republican."

"By the way, we’re lowering Kansas and South Carolina from Safe Republican to Likely Republican after recent closer-than-expected surveys surfaced," authors and political scientists Larry Sabato, Kyle Kondik and Geoffrey Skelley wrote.

The changes reflect just how dire the situation has become for Trump. While Sabato is still confident Kansas and South Carolina will vote for Trump, the vote totals there could be smaller than in past campaigns. "We certainly don’t expect either Kansas or South Carolina to vote Democratic. Still, we have noticed that many deep red states may be preparing to produce lower-than-usual pluralities for Trump. It won’t matter in the Electoral College, of course, but it will be reflected in the national popular vote total," they wrote.

The Center for Politics also moved Nebraska's Second Congressional District from "leans Republican" to "leans Democratic," and New Hampshire from "leans Democratic" to "likely Democratic."

In this case. Hillary might be getting a little help from Sam Brownback.

He has ticked off lots of people.
