This is what a real leader does -

D --

I just got off the phone with Governor John Bel Edwards of Louisiana.

The flooding there is more extensive than anyone expected -- more than 40,000 homes have been damaged and more than 100,000 people have been affected.

My heart breaks for Louisiana, and right now, the relief effort can't afford any distractions. The very best way this team can help is to make sure Louisianans have the resources they need.

There are two organizations the governor asked that we help. Chip in right now to the Red Cross, which is doing critical work to provide medical assistance and supplies to the victims of this natural disaster. You can also donate right now to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a local organization that’s directing money to community non-profits that need it.

These are our friends, our family members, our community -- and they’re counting on us to reach out with open arms right now. This team has done so much for me. Now I’m asking you to show that same support to the victims in Louisiana, so that we can begin to rebuild together:

Note: Includes links to Red Cross and BRAF

Thanks so much,

Hillary

About "Where is Hillary? She's no where to be seen. She hasn't been seen for daaaaays!" Brook Baldwin told her that Secretary Clinton was in Washington (I think that is what she said - I was yelling at the moron) and that she had called for donations to help relief efforts in Louisiana. The dumb ass woman was bitching that the presidency is not a part time job and you couldn't outsource the president's job - that may have been in reference to President Obama since she was also complaining about him being on vacation.

I missed a lot of what was being said since I was yelling at the woman, then had to turn off the sound to get my blood pressure down. Baldwin was great, she kept telling the woman that having the President go to the location would just slow down rescue efforts. CNN also had a banner at the bottom of the page about the governor saying he welcomed Trump but not for a photo op.

Just gave to the Red Cross. I know some people have problems with the way the Red Cross sometimes spends their money, but the fact is they are ALWAYS there on the front lines during a disaster.

To donate, text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief, which helps people affected by disasters such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, wildfires and tornadoes. Charges will appear on your wireless bill, or be deducted from your prepaid balance.

ATT keeps a bunch of my money so I always have a balance according to them. This money comes out of my balance, which I never use up anyway, so rather than let it go to waste, I do this from time to time.

Gave a few bucks. Don't forget our furry and otherwise friends. Tragic all the way around. I'm on a fixed income and there just isn't enough money to go around. If you can help people and/or animals, please do. Every little bit helps. Heartbreaking.

This whole whining Trump campaign is about embarrassing Governor Edwards while he is engaged 24/7 helping flood victims. Who takes advantage of someone like this but this current crop of Republicans?

Their shameful behavior during this will not be quickly forgotten by those busy helping but getting sniped at, criticized, and disparaged for not being Republican. The GOP ruined the state, that is only forgotten by the GOP robots here. Morons.
