The Heart of the Media Narrative: Hillary Is Really, Really Horrible
That's the message they're putting out day after day.
It doesn't really matter that the media isn't giving much airplay to Trump's scandals. If they did - and they may well do so eventually - it will only be to provide a reinforcement for their "Hillary is horrible" narrative: "Look how bad Trump is. And yet, Hillary is so much worse that she can't even beat him! She is deeply flawed, untrustworthy, etc. Any other candidate would be mopping the floor with Trump."
So you may as well buckle in, because it's going to be a very rough ride until November. The media has their narrative about Hillary, a narrative that has been crafted over a 30-year period, based in large part on the media's long-standing hatred of Hillary Clinton (a hatred that has been identified by none other than Mark "Obama is a dick" Halperin).
Team Hillary just needs to forge ahead with the winning strategy that has served them to date. Neither they nor Hillary's millions of supporters are going to be successful in getting our embarrassingly lazy media to change the sour tune they've been playing for decades.
