The MEDIA Created Candidate Has Roosted.

Not even the actor Ronald Reagan from Bedtime for Bonzo.
Not even the semi literate, nearly moronic W created by Karl Rove.

No, we have never seen a candidate like this.
THE Donald, yes he even has that media given TITLE, is entirely media CREATED.
They gave him birth.
They have coddled him thru the process.
And, now, they will decide if he should be the most powerful person in the world.

I'm not talking about most MEMBERS of the media.
They are just people too. They are mostly college educated.
They know he is not qualified.
They know he's a joke.
But, their bosses, are in on the joke.
Nay, they STARTED and have CONTINUED The joke.

And, they, and only they could have stopped this charade at any time.
Remember the Highly overhyped and media created and driven Dean Scream?
Yep, Dean had gotten to be too big of a corporate media threat.
So, they saw their opportunity to take him down and they did.

Now, fast forward to The Donald.
The sane amongst us during the Gop primary kept saying they would do the same to him.
How many opportunities did Trump give them to stop him?
There were so many things they could have used and driven home to say that they would no longer cover him as a serious candidate.
Only ONE Did this. The HUffington POst initially said they would only cover him under the banner of Entertainment and not Politics.
But, they were a lonely voice in the wind.

No, The Donald meant Huge Ratings and numbers of clicks.
Donald was fun. Donald was bombastic and, oh my gosh, what would he say next?
No one knew. So, they had better cover everything he said LIVE! And for FREE.
He was, and still is, given billions of dollars of free advertising.
And, to say what of any consequence?
What policies has he ever delved into? Building a wall? Seriously?
Cancelling all trade agreements? He couldn't even if he wanted to.

But, here we are.
And, tonight we have the biggest joke of all.
He will actually be on that stage.
The stage reserved, rightly or wrongly as it is set up with the 15% threshold, for one of only two people with the chance to lead our nation.
He shouldn't be there.
He is by no metric, in any way, qualified for this position.
He should have never been granted an interview.
Ironically, this "business man" has circumvented the interview because one of the primary interviewers (the corporate media masters) made the interview process a sham.

So, tonight Lester Holt as the moderator and, more importantly, the post debate media spinners have another chance.
Will they finally end this JOKE that they have perpetuated on the American people?
Or, will they continue to perpetuate it in hopes of their coveted close horse race.
As Edward R. Murrow and other former REAL journalists roll over in their graves, we all wait.
We watch the countdown clocks on Cnn and MSNBC as if this were a NASA liftoff countdown.
And, come to think of it, it is.
Only with greater consequences than any lunar mission.

Since ur user name is Green Party, what do you think of Stein?

You can reply to me privately, if ur rather.
I ask this because I like a lot about the Greens, but I'm voting for Hillary. Thanx.

wayside.

Regarding Stein, I actually just can't connect with her. I switched parties to support Bernie this spring at the caucus, even though I don't believe in a 2 party system and plurality voting. I live in Maine's 2nd district, which is polling heavily for Trump, and based on the signs and bumper stickers I think the polls are accurate. So I am voting against Trump via Clinton.

Donald Trump’s candidacy might not be making America great, CBS Chairman Les Moonves said Monday, but it’s great for his company.

"It may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS," Moonves said

"Man, who would have expected the ride we're all having right now? ... The money's rolling in and this is fun," Moonves went on. "I've never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It's a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going.”

They're all guilty of this, he just said it out loud.

I won't go further back than Hoover:

Herbert Hoover was Sec of Commerce and b4 that US Food Adminstration (forerunner to the FDA)
Truman was a Senator
IKE was a general
Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan etc all held public office.

Even though Reagan was an actor, he was governor of California.

Trump is nothing but a super rich "reality star"

Yes, they have enabled a meglomaniac to be on the verge of the white house.

At the same time, they have spent over a quarter century negatively slandering Hillary Clinton, creating a permanently and negatively cast frame of her to the country.
