CNN is covering the debate like a football game.

I'm waiting for a flight at the Philly airport, and the TV at my gate has CNN, which for some reason has its pundits sitting outside with dorky face-mics while they babble back and forth. I'm guessing they're outside the debate location, but why are they out there at 9am when the debate is not until tonight? It's kind of sad, really, that cable news has to sink so low because they drove away all of their viewers who don't think about politics in the same terms they think of of NFL coverage.

Jennifer Granholm did just make an impassioned speech against the false equivalence when it comes to the candidates and honesty. She even went so far as to literally throw her hands in the air in her exasperation. Am I the only one who, after watching Jennifer Granholm demonstrate how awesome she is as a Democrat, gets so pissed off that she was born in Canada?
