2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumOK. TV coverage...Just glancing at the shots of excited students at the university where the
debate happens tonight. I only see either T-shirts/signs for Hillary or t-shirts/signs that say "Debate 2016" (with I think maybe the university's name too). I saw ONE sign with the word Trump on it but it had so much writing I couldn't tell if it was for him or mocking him. I think tonight is Hillary's chance to show young people who are disappointed that Bernie didn't get the nom that they should vote for her and not a third party candidate.

Clinton--Cheers.
Third Party--scattered cheers.
Andrea Mitchell ought to get a visible elephant tattoo; it's obvious with whom she is affiliated...!

(3,818 posts)she makes me sick. I am back with MSNBC now. Was kind of funny when they showed the crowd on CNN, the CNN commentator said something like "...and there we see the students...supporters for both Hillary and...ah...Trump." You could tell she was looking and not seeing those Trump supporters she was mentioning.

Huge cheers for Hillary.
A few voices for Johnson.
Not a sound for Trump.

(45 posts)Hillary needs to emphasize that she worked heavily with Bernie and other democrats to come up with the most progressive platform. Emphasize the public college position and environmentalism. Trump does not care about either so she needs to mention that. She needs to also talk about the global statistics on global warming and the record heatwave across the country this year. This will go over the heads of most people except the young.
