I think with some effort, Arizona could go for Clinton.

Here are my reasons:

1) Many Republicans aren't comfortable with Trump to begin with (see recent endorsement of Hillary by the AZ Republic)
2) There are a lot of Libertarians in this state who are going to vote for Johnson, and that includes a lot of Republicans who lean Libertarian. They will be more inclined to vote Johnson than Trump. This is what I have heard them saying, so it is a bit anecdotal.
3) There are a lot of Mormons in this state who would normally vote for the Republican, but they pretty much despise Trump. I understand that many of them are going to write in a Romney-supported candidate.
4) Pima County (second largest in the state) is heavily Democratic and will probably go Clinton.
5) The Metro Phoenix area is getting more and more Democratic.
6) We have a large Hispanic population in the state, we know they aren't voting Trump.

I think with all these factors in play, we might, just might have a chance if there is some real effort put in by Hillary and her campaign.

1. I think Hillary has a good chance of turning AZ blue.

But with all the money being pumped from RW donors, Ann Kirkpatrick is having a harder time going up against McCain now. Whenever I am up in the Phx area, I notice it is just nonstop McCain ads at night now. Not sure if that is true or not, but it just seems like it.

2. I see non-stop ads for both (when I watch TV, which isn't often, I admit).

I really hope Kirkpatrick wins (of course) but I think it's a long shot.

I'm REALLY hoping we can retire Sheriff Joke Arpaio.....

3. I'm glad you're seeing her ads. I don't but then again, I only turn on Phx stations sporadically

Arpaio seems to be in a hot mess these days. How is he doing now? Last I checked, he was behind Penzone. But that was a while ago.

by McCain ads. I do see it being close enough for Hillary to take though, especially with minimum wage and legalized Marijuana on the same ballot.

7. Yep. I see that too. His ads overwhelms her 1 ad.

It was much closer this summer. And then the ads began and now he has a huge lead.
