Maybe Our Taxes Wouldn't Be So High If Your Candidate Paid His.

A woman I know who is part of my social circle is a life long Republican. She is evidently torn this year because she doesn't like the petulant child her party has seen fit to nominate for president. Her signature issue is taxes. Okay, I get it. We are upper income. I feel my taxes are the price I pay for getting to live in a civilized society. She's bought the GOP line about guvment spending. She feels her taxes are too damn high. So she texted me this morning to ask what I thought about the candidate-who-went-there-about-his-dick-size.

I texted back. "Maybe our taxes wouldn't be so high if DJT paid his." She agreed. I can't hope that she will vote for Hillary. She's leaning towards staying home this year and that works for me too. She votes party line anyway.

There must be plenty of Trump quotes attacking Fiorina and others over poor business practices. Now we know Trump is a failed businessman who was attacking others for the same thing he was doing.

GE pays no taxes as do most major companies. It's not reported by the MSM because they are owned by these corporations. The IRS doesn't audit them because they do not have the resources to do so. Instead they audit small businesses, the base of the Republican Party. The regulatory agencies operate the same way, small business get over-regulated while the big corporations "self report!"

Even the U.S. Chamber of Commerce filed an Amicus brief supporting BP in their appeals over the Gulf oil spill litigation despite tens of thousands of small businesses being devastated by the oil spill. Our firm notified the local Chambers of Commerce up and down the Gulf coast of what their parent organization was doing and they were shocked!

The Republican base has been upset that they have seen no relief, but do not bother to go outside the bubble to find the truth. They prefer to believe what they want to hear, that it's the minorities and the poor's fault.

in the black as far as our tax dollars go. They rake in much more than they pay out. The make sure and keep the system rigged to keep it that way. That's why so little of our tax dollars really go to what would benefit us.

It's like the ruling class taxing the peasants in the middle ages.
