Donald Trump's Double Standard On Infidelity
And why shouldn't she? How many believe a woman should have empathy and compassion for a woman having an affair with her husband? No doubt, her husband should get his comeuppance, the direct force of his wife's anger--but who thinks a woman cheating with her husband is entitled to a kum-by-yah moment? Fury is the typical response! The other woman knows she's wrong, knows she is a willing participant by choice in enabling the husband to violate his vows!
The only people who don't get the outrage women have toward the other woman are those who are carrying water for Trump. The thrice (three times!) married Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani (his wife kicked him out of Gracie mansion!), each who were serial cheaters--as is Trump!--each who showed no shame or contrition (which Bill has done).
Trump's infidelities made headlines and were well known. He did not manage the lurid details with empathy. But he again turns his faults into finger pointing. He blames others of his sins and crimes (another area of his special knowledge).
Former House Speaker Gingrich took divorce papers to his wife's hospital bed! He's Trump's campaign surrogate for family values, morality and misogynist body shaming! But view his own record: Giuliani called a press conference to announce his divorce filing from his wife of 16 years--not telling her before the cameras rolled, so the announcement came as a complete ambush--he humiliated her further by asserting in public his "turning" to his paramour for support as he embarrassed his young children.
