2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI'm voting by mail this election
This will be the first time for me to vote by mail (while living in the states.) Now I live in a very red, small town. I'm not afraid to go to the polls, but I can understand how it might make some people uncomfortable.
I mailed my request to vote by mail today, and can't wait to get my ballot!

(2,902 posts)We had that forced on us in WA, and my vote has never counted since we switched to that horrific system. My county's ballot tracker:

It's sad that we have to have our votes thrown away instead of being allowed to vote on a real machine in person.

(6,133 posts)never be afraid to vote on site on Election Day. It is so easy. No one makes it hard for Republicans to vote.
But in 2004 Columbus, OH, my two sisters in law lived there and had to wait hours in line. Thanks Ken Blackwell.
Republican district...easy vote, and Democratic district...hard vote. When more people vote, Republicans lose.
