...the Rollins/Utley/Howard/Halladay team...sure all got old at the same time. Like a car, whose pieces all fell apart simultaneously. Well, they had a lot of talent, and won a World Series, which is more than most teams manage. I still wonder, though, why the hell they waited until he was 27(!) before bringing Howard up. If he had been in the lineup at 23, he'd be going to Cooperstown without a dissenting vote...back to our regular political site...

Even though I would have never missed the 1988 V.P. debate: you, Senator, are no Jack Kennedy.

Or the Biden-Palin from 2008.

I trust that the highlights will be everywhere.

Saying you have to exercise and not watch the debate.
not too smart.

not recorded, and thereafter never heard again.

In reality, we will be seeing plenty of excerpts and analysis for the entire next week.

I am fascinated by this stuff. And horrified. And excited. And worried. And stimulated. And enraged.

I don't get the "I won't bother" on a board like this and in an election year like this one.

I like the numbers side of it. But gotta admit shouting matches between also-rans just don't give me the tingles.

And I just have never really loved Kaine, and Pence makes me want to stab out my eardrums.
