VP Debate

If we're going to have an "off night" the VP debate is the one to have it on.

Quick, who was Bob Dole's Running Mate and how did he do in the debate?

Wish Kaine would have taken a class from Hillary as she'd be shreading Pence.

Hmmm, I wonder why you see this as an "off night"? Happyhippychick Oct 2016 #2

I actually met him, very nice man and one of the long gone "Good Republicans" and I was in St. Petersburg for that debate!

My point is that Pence can hit this one out of the park (he's not, he's winning but this is far from a knockout) and it wouldn't matter.

Hillary can (and is) winning this on her own.

It was near universal halfway through the debate that Hillary was kicking Trump's ass. The fact many here feel Pence is winning, even with their blinders on, tells me Kaine is losing.

It's not a disaster of a performance like with Ryan four years ago but it's not convincing me Kaine will ever be at the top of the ticket.

I was being polite, if anyone here knows Kaine knows that this is how he is in real life. I really feel for his staff, while they'd never tell you, they hate working for him.

This isn't an off night, this is Kaine being Kaine.

Pence is starting the campaign for his party's nomination in 2020 and Kaine is lucky to be running with Hillary.

We're still going to win the election in a landslide.
