It was decorated with many Trump/Pence magnetic icons.
Right at that moment the person I was on my way to meet texted me that they were running late.
So I stuck with the white SUV and slowed them to miss many Philly lights.
They had a good view of my Clinton/Kaine bumper sticker the whole time.
Ain't I a stinker?
(The text popped up on my dashboard. I was not 'texting.' Also there was a fair bit of traffic keeping us slow. I just made sure that when I got to lights that I did not make them. This wasn't a thrilling car chase.)

(1,016 posts)I have the same problem every day. i live near two highway intersections both very busy. I have had to pull over and pretend to get gas to let the other driver gets some distance. i live in Texas, hostile territory for "libruls" you know the good librul is a dead librul crowd.

(22,901 posts)Not that California doesn't have cheato supporters-- it's just that they're such a minority that I don't worry about my safety. Not in that regard, at any rate. Crazy drivers in general? That's a different story

(8,292 posts)and felt the same way. I was afraid of road rage there that I let things just slide because I didn't know if they were packing heat and go postal on me.

If your lizard brain wants to take the wheel, then you need to say "no" to it.
Intentionally maneuvering your car out of spite, anger, or whatever, is just plain stupid and dangerous.

Maybe they think Donald will buy them a new truck, or maybe they'll be able to buy their own when they get their top-one-percent tax cut.

(9,133 posts)I've only seen one or two Thump stickers, and the only one I remember was on a late-model upscale SUV. Of course I'm not only in south-central Texas' only blue bubble (Austin) and less than 250 miles to the Mexican border, and the folks who had McCain and RMoney bumperstckers on their cars in years past might have just enough common sense realize that putting one on their vehicle might be an open invitation to get them keyed.
