2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumPence on CBS this morning, no wonder Kaine had to interrupt.
The comentators can't get a word in, they ask a question and Pence goes off on something else and never stops talking.
Ran down the clock and never answered a question. They asked repeatedly about him and the Dons disagreements.

(13,340 posts)1. This is a typical "debate" technique.
You filibuster and ramble on and on. You tell your most egregious lies early, and then move on to another subject. In many cases, your opponent (or interviewer) is so overwhelmed with bullshit, that they never even address the first, most egregious lies. That's why Kaine HAD to interrupt.

(28,270 posts)4. Its called the Gish Gallop
The Gish Gallop (also known as proof by verbosity) is the fallacious debating tactic of simply drowning your opponent in a torrent of small, interlocking arguments intended to prevent your opponent from being able to rebut your conclusions in real time.
