Got an ad for Trump in the mail today.

I live in Ohio and the ad was paid for by the New York Republican State Committee.

Thought it was odd for NY to pay for ads in Ohio and also that it was a State Committee

and not a National Committee.

I started receiving e-mails from the Trump campaign a couple weeks ago, asking for donations. I never reached out to them, so that also struck me as odd. I was receiving about five e-mails a day! I "unsubscribed" from their e-mails and, just in case, also set up my account to send any future e-mails from them directly to the trash folder.

3. I read somewhere Trump's campaign was buying random email lists and spamming them

cheaper than targeted research on the voters you really need for a ground game.

4. That's probably what happened.

I've had that e-mail account for YEARS, so I'm sure it's on a few marketing lists. Most stuff goes to my spam folder, but the damn Trump e-mails did not.

5. You prbably deleted them but if they are still in your trash mark them Spam if you have that option

like in Yahoo Mail, it will help ISP's label them spam everywhere
Then all their emails will go into people's spam folders

6. I marked them as spam too. I forgot to mention that earlier.

I first did that, then "unsubscribed," then set up trash folder destination for anything with "Trump" in the address and finally deleted them all.
