(incidentally this is why i think we should stop posting from JPR, as they do not represent the core Sanders voters nor Sanders himself)

(413 posts)I just hope the rest of his followers will jump on board. I was so happy when Bernie finally recognized that Hillary is the better candidate and that he should support her.

(28,344 posts)Clinton HATE posts consistently remained nearly 2x all posts about Bernie combined.
The real, core Bernie supporters are here, side by side - Stronger Together - moving forward to a more progressive future - just as Bernie Sanders himself is with the campaign.
He has spent decades in public life working to make life better for regular people! OF COURSE he's with Hillary! Just as anyone who truly cares about progressivism is this election.
On JPR they have now turned on Sanders and now openly express disdain and contempt for him. Those that remain are not, and never really were supporters of Senator Sanders.
So KUDOS to Bernie and his hard work! The Senator and his supporters are a valuable asset to the ticket this year.
And with his help we can create a landslide election that will ultimately see many of his progressive reforms realized.

(58,758 posts)and a true progressive. He knows that the best way to get his agenda through is to elect Clinton by a landslide and flip the Senate and as much of the House as we can.

(14,858 posts)I apologize if he has rallied for Clinton in Ohio recently and I missed it.
Ohio might need some "Bernie love" more than others given the close race here. I sometimes wonder if we have a fair number of "Bernie or Bust" types who need converted.
Boo hoo...

(5,648 posts)...he is the only one who can get those who are now planning to vote for 3rd party candidates on board. Let's just hope they don't view him as a traitor to his own cause and will actually take his advice.
Frankly, I have my doubts, but I hope I am wrong.
Note: This is not to bash Bernie - I greatly appreciate what he is doing now, but no one can deny that he did his best to label Hillary as the establishment/corporate candidate who didn't deserve their vote. He got millennials super excited and gave them every indication that he could win. When he didn't win they felt very let down and many started looking in other directions. Again, I don't blame him for how he ran his campaign - politics is politics - but that is how we got to where we are today with many younger votes. It is what it is.
