Did Trump run for President because he was already in deep financial trouble?

There's no doubt the Trump brand has been irrevocably damaged by this campaign, but apart from that, I've long suspected, along with the presidency appealing to Trump's enormous ego, that he might have been running as a wild Hail Mary pass, hoping to use the presidency to bail himself out of yet another mountain of debt, a deep hole hiding behind those tax returns he refuses to release.

The possibilities for a President, especially one as uninhibited by normal moral constraints or standards of public decency as Trump, to line their pockets using the power of the office are endless. Even worse, I'd say there's a good chance that Trump has debts to Russian banks, maybe even to Russian organized crime, that Trump's good buddy Putin was willing to help with, in exchange for favors Trump would be in the position to perform as President.

I'm guessing that soon after a Trump defeat we'll see his little empire crumble to dust, and even more hidden horrors will come to light in the process.

possibly billions... and that as President, he could take certain actions that would benefit these people... so much so that they will forget about what he owes them.

He may have already made a deal about it. Promising them benefits if he made it. Then also getting secret service for life as protection from the russian mob bosses he owes money to.

I don't see how Trump has any liquid assets at all. The only way to maintain his lavish lifestyle is to borrow more. I think he owes billions to the Russian Federation and various mobsters.

Trump is so narcissistic I think he believes that he's in charge. In fact he's a puppet. He's a patsy.

A former director of the CIA wrote that "Trump is an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation." We have no reason to doubt this expert assessment.

I have thought from day 1 he was doing it for financial gain. Really as a means to bail his ass out of financial problems.

Which is why he continues to double and redouble down no matter how bad things get and no matter how he is destroying his own brand. He HAS to win this!

do what ever is necessary to disparage President Obama and Hillary Clinton. You are seeing a so called Star acting out his Bully Fantasy live and in real time. And there are many who believe his Con.
