which in truth kicked this off... I believe the long view of history will view Schmidt kindly, after his full-throated stance against Trump and the modern GOP at this point in time. Even Chuck Todd was struck by it.

I sure hope he's right in his prediction!

He knew palin was unfit for any political office - yet, he put party over country....I will not give respect to Schmidt..and here is what I think of his PREPARED statement this AM -

Schmidt is just setting the standard..low for drumpf and high for Hillary -

Schmidt - "Well, this debate will be like the last debate. You'll see someone who's manifestly unprepared for the duties of the office of President of the United States, who has no idea what he's talking about from a policy perspective, who lacks the requisite dignity required of someone who wishes to be the Head of State of the government of the United States, and someone who lacks the capacity to be the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful military and the world's most potent nuclear arsenal, that's what you'll see tonight."

1. This debate like last debate...drumpf unprepared - drumpf having a coherent talking point of 3 words or more - will be seen as prepared...

2.lacks the requisite dignity - drumpf would say that he has regret about his youthful transgressions, and all will be forgiven

3.Lacks capacity to be CIC - drumpf will regain capacity with just a sliver, again, of a more than 3 word sentence

The bar is so low - he will look like a genius....

I do not trust ANY republican, least of all a palinista..they will do and say anything to stay relevant and hold the mic...

Words SOUND good to our ear..afterall, we are Clintonites..we will NOT stop fighting - we will VOTE from now until Nov 8 -

Be well RSF - like my Mom used to say - don't believe anything you hear, and only 1/2 of what you see....

the truth. Yes I shared your contempt of him, but I've listened to his commentary all thru primary and general. He does some obligatory spin and then drops into "Truth Mode". He has been envicerating Trump and the GOP for a while now.

Of course ymmv
