(453 posts)I appreciated that they covered the email thing by showing the rally with Gore and playing clips of the rally with Gore. It was like: headline says one thing, but were showing you something else.
Couple of points. In an emergency who do turn to? The people that you know, that your husband knows will do a good job or do you waste time vetting all the names and trying to be fair to everyone that is looking to help.
Haiti needed FAST ACTION! Using people they knew and trusted shows that they surround themselves with people they can trust and know they can call on in a crisis.

(1,716 posts)About time. Al Gore looked like the FL heat was getting to him but Hill was cool as a cucumber. She is getting better as times goes on. She looks better, her voice is better, her poise is incredible.
The right rally in the right place at the right time.
Nailed it! Never letting Don the Con phase her. Lol he is reduced to threatening Ryan and putting out an ad where she stumbles.
She looks so vital and powerful he can't make that case. Nice try. Go Hillary!

(5,648 posts).... through a different lens than I am using. Or maybe they are just watching different segment than I have watched. I can't say which it is in this particular case, but this happens far to often to be anything but someone's interpretation of what they are watching being different from mine.
If you fully expect and are searching for bias at every turn, chances are you will find something which will convince yourself that you were right all along. On the other hand if you watch with and ope mind that same tidbit will probably be viewed as harmless. That is why eye witness accounts of crimes are far too often proved to be erroneous and innocent people are rotting in jail. In other words we have a tendency to see what we expect to see.
I just watch a brief segment on CNN which covered the latest Wikileaks release and the CNN political analyst treated it like it as if it were no big deal. The same segment covered Hillary and Gore campaigning together in Florida and the Wikileaks email story in no way over shadowed the Hillary/Gore coverage.
Don't you think it odd that hard right wingers also view MSM with suspicion and distrust.
