He worked for national review so I assume he is conservative. His reporting seems fair, accurate. And conservatives who avoid "mainstream" reporters talk to Costa. He gets news most can't get.

As you say, seems fair, accurate, objective (if there is such a thing), with info on the internal deterioration of the Repubs that nobody else has.
