Fox news: Trump Goes Nuclear on Ryan

Donald Trump took aim at Speaker Paul Ryan in an interview on Fox News.

Said Trump: “I wouldn’t want to be in a foxhole with a lot of these people that I can tell you, including Ryan…especially Ryan.”

Trump also accused Ryan of having “opened borders and amnesty” and he charged that Ryan had promoted “bad budgets by the way, very, very bad budgets.”

Trump is Mr Bad-Judgement. Just a seething volcano of resentments towards whatever is his latest perceived insults. He could have spent his time, money and energy doing something positive for his party, campaigning for Senators and congressmen, helping raise money, attacking Dem policies. But no. Trump never thinks about helping others, because it's all about me, me. me. He wouldn't lift a finger to help anyone. All he has accomplished is to generate hatred and malice towards all. We have such a wonderful candidate in HRC.

Not for nothing, but Paul Ryan didn't get Speaker by knuckling under to morons like Trump.

Trump's trying to provoke him now. Ryan will wait until he's good and ready.

That said, it's absolutely remarkable that Ryan hasn't unendorsed Trump, who has been publicly attacking him for two days. Ryan could give a twenty minute speech enumerating Trump's faults, and he'd be under 30% in a few days.

His seat is pretty secure, but he definitely won't risk losing it by gluing himself to Trump. Doing that could provide his opponent with his own Claire McCaskill moment, something I'm sure Ryan remembers all too well.
