Sorry to be a grumpy old lady but, just because you are registered doesn't mean you will vote.

Dallas is blue surrounded by the red suburbs, most other major Texas cities are the same. The Rio Grand Valley is heavily blue. Hope to see the state turn blue one day, more of the city dwellers are moving to the burbs, maybe that may cause a change.

It's just terrible (and darkly hilarious) how many people sign up as "Independent Americans" as opposed to "Nonpartisan." They don't know what "nonpartisan" means, but see the word "independent" and check that box, not realizing no that it was founded (and remains) -- a literal white supremacist political party. Out of thousands of voters registered, I've never seen a single human being sign the form with the IAP purposefully, with any realization whatsoever that it's a party and not actually independent of anything.

I will be out there making Trump win by one less vote if he wins the state's electoral college votes.

As to the question above about party affiliation, I did not see a place on the form for that when I registered. What I can say is that the San Antonio local news showed donations by zip code and the large cities and the whole Rio Grande Valley donated to Clinton in significant numbers. I can get back with a link but it was on News4sanantonio.com if anyone is curious.

Edit: No link to the map on the website but plenty of anti-Trump sentiment in San Antonio.
