'Ivanka Trump is not popular among her employees. Her company’s Chief Marketing Officer Marissa Velez Kraxberger recently quit, and lit into Ivanka for the horrible way she treats her employees, particularly women.

Wrote Marissa, “I have tried to abstain from writing anything amidst this terrifying political brawl that relates to my past employer, but when I recently saw a commercial with Ivanka and her father and their “maternity leave” policy I felt like I was going to be ill.”'>>>

13. A couple of comments.

The first is that a woman who goes back to work one week after giving birth is probably not breast-feeding. And secondly, the more important thing, is that such a woman has A LOT of paid staff helping her out. She's not the one feeding, whether by breast or bottle. She's not the one changing all the diapers. She's not the one struggling to fix meals for her and her husband.

So fuck her.

I'm perfectly ready to believe that, coming out of that family, there could be something wrong with Ivanka (or not). HOWEVER, this cheesy little 4-paragraph piece certainly does not present the case.

In the U.S. even unpaid maternity leave is only available to certain employees in certain companies. And in those situations, the mother must have been employed for at least 7 months before qualifying.

Should this be different? Of course, and by this piece's standards we're a creepy sadist nation.

Btw, this was also in this employee's post: "I'm not writing this because I think Ivanka is a bad person. I can see how it might be possible to go back to work after having a baby when you have a lot of help at home,..." Good of her. It's highly unlikely her next job offered maternity leave either.

This "article" reads like the author went to some freaking Republican propaganda camp to learn technique, and then emerged as some kind of undercover black ops "liberal" blogger.

21. I've never had a...

...good feeling about his children. I think people fall back on complimenting children when they have nothing else. They presented themselves well and were nicely groomed for the Republican Convention. That image is what most people remember. The sons have begun to receive some well-deserved mainstream criticism. I don't really care for Ivanka either, but she has a more reserved manner. But, if asked publically, I would say she seems nice - simply because we don't see photos of her with dead panthers or hear her talking about hiring a secretary due to his biceps or bulge.
