Related: About this forumCNN president: Airing so many full Trump rallies was a 'mistake'
"CNN's president says he regrets giving so much airtime to Donald Trump and his rallies on the network early in the campaign season.
"If we made any mistake last year, it's that we probably did put too many of his campaign rallies in those early months and let them run," Jeff Zucker said at Harvard Kennedy School, according to BuzzFeed. "Listen, because you never knew what he would say, there was an attraction to put those on the air."
Zucker, who was the president of NBC Entertainment when "The Apprentice" was first on TV said that even then Trump was a "publicity magnet."
"Trump delivered on PR, he delivered on big ratings," Zucker said."

So why are you paying so many trump enablers and defenders to be on now?

(5,730 posts)Anderson Cooper is now reduced to giving equal time to the blather of intellectually challenged Trumpsters, defending sexual predators, in a Jerry Springer atmosphere. You don't see much of David Gergan now...he probably is sickened. The people who have some knowledge of political history and integrity, Bagala, Axlerod. .. are drowned out by idiots. I can't change the channel fast enough when they start.

(42,862 posts)... and the polling that he's basing everything on. I mean, seriously... are people in the "red states" TRULY that dumb? Do they hate Hillary SO much (or Democrats in general) that they'd sell their soul and put their entire country (and the world) at risk?
It's frightening to realize how many idiots there are out there.

Mr. Zucker you are guilty of trying to influence our elections and should hang your head in shame.
