Melania Trump interviewed by CNN's Anderson Cooper

CNN

Melania Trump sat with CNN's Anderson Cooper Monday for an interview that will air at 8 p.m. ET .

It's the first interview in months for the wife of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and comes as her husband faces a raft of accusations of sexual misconduct.

Melania Trump has defended her husband in the wake of a 2005 "Access Hollywood" video in which described used vulgar terms to describe kissing and grabbing the privates of women without consent.

"The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me. This does not represent the man that I know," she said in that statement. "I hope people will accept his apology, as I have."

Perhaps Melania could "rate" the women and we could do a comparison?

He will ask tough questions but I don't think he will do it in a disrespectful way. Melania is no more responsible for what her husband has done than Hillary is responsible for what Bill has done.

Melania is going to be just what she is, and I'm not either condemning her or worrying about her. I imagine Trump's supporters will fall down in paroxysms of delight at any semblance of humanity, and that's fine too.

I doubt I'll watch, though.

not to ask her about the plagiarism? I'm still convinced that Melania herself did it, since even a novice speech writer (or anyone who has ever been to college) would know to run anything through a plagiarism checker. Particularly something that is going to receive so much national attention.

More evidence comes from the fact that she completely disappeared for two months after that incident, pointing to strong feelings of guilt and shame.
