3. gotta be, i can't think it's legal for the us department of state, e.g., to contribute to campaigns.

in fact most department of state employees are banned as well, i think (hatch act)?
probably only those in political positions can contribute.

i'm guessing here, though.

What is "U S Government", "US Dept of State'. and "US Dept of Justice?" How do they donate to Obama

5. I believe these are government workers, who as individuals, donated to the campaign....

when one donates, one is requested to provide occupation and employer name....
this is how the information is gotten to then post here and elsewhere.
