Oh, THANK YOU for Arizona, Jan! Your contribution is much appreciated.
From AZ Republic: Former Gov. Jan Brewer is desperate for attention and gets it as one of the few female public figures willing to stand up for Donald Trump. Apparently, she's happy to do so even if it means trashing a large segment of the population of the state where she served as governor.
In an article for The Boston Globe about new battleground states like Arizona, Hillary Clinton campaign officials were asked about the importance of the minority vote. According to the article, Brian Fallon, Clinton campaign press secretary said, "There are other states right now that are very close contests, but even if we manage to pull off a win [it] would not have that same symbolic significance." He added that in a place like Arizona, "I think that speaks to demographic changes in the country that are really upending the normal map.
The Globe pointed out that some Republicans weren't buying the idea that Hispanics, who overwhelmingly support Clinton, would tip the balance. So the newspaper asked Brewer. Arizona's former governor said of our state's Hispanics, a major constituency in her supposedly beloved state: Nah...They dont get out and vote.
Which is another way of saying: They don't matter.
