Poll. Who will be most distrespected? The BLACK MAN or The FIRST WOMAN.

I am talking about disrespect from both sides of the aisle.

Here at DU we have had Obama called a POSUCS. Lauded and applauded to the top of the page...Twice. The apology was a long time coming and became another hate thread. Finally self deleted. Finally FFred.

We have Joe Wilson calling out YOU LIE at SOTU.

Rudy

Giuliani: Obama doesn't love America

The former New York mayor makes his remarks at a Scott Walker event.

I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Hillary? On DU she is worse than Bush and Trump. Seriously? Millions have been spent on investigating Hillary by the GOP. Millions of tax payer dollars. OUR DOLLARS! And zip. Nothing. Hmm.

https://newrepublic.com/minutes/133694/donald-trump-suggests-hillary-clinton-might-murdererand-no-one-bats-eye

Donald Trump suggests Hillary Clinton might be a murderer—and no one bats an eye. As The Washington Post reported last night, the presumptive Republican nominee is reviving many of the conspiracy theories that surrounded the Clintons in the 1990s. Trump is receptive to the idea that Vince Foster, the Clinton aide who killed himself in 1993, might have been murdered:

Not an option.

President Obama wan 300 Electoral votes in 2012, but the GOP rejected the idea that he had a mandate.

No matter how many Electoral votes Clinton wins, the GOP will reject the idea that she has a mandate.

Is the American people.

Clinton and Obama can take it, they've heard this crap for years. I think the real damage is to the country, in all kinds of ways.

is a brilliant statement.

Look at what the RePUG "plan" has done to our country in the past 8 years - and even go back to the Newt's "Contract with America" - but don't even BEGIN to get me talking about "W" and how THAT team screwed us over!

I can already see "the Turtle" and Paul "Eddie Munster" Ryan planning their meeting after the wonderful Hillary victory - where they'll announce that our "wonderful" RePUG party has positioned themselves for the next 4 years - the LATEST AND GREATEST PARTY OF NO!

Yeah, way to serve your people, you idiots (and you wonder why you keep loosing?)

split than after 2008. 2008 was a disaster for them, but they didn't have a bunch of pundits and other party insiders openly revolting against the nominee.

The GOP is going to be a mess after this election. It may take them some time to be able to mount an effective opposition.

Once that happens I think she will get it worse than Obama.

As far as Democrats, I think they will start in on her right away. I already saw a "hold her feet to the fire" type of OP post here regarding climate change.

I hope the current rules stay in place at DU. 8 years of faux outrage against Obama here were tiresome beyond belief.

I think we will have a small reprieve. The GOP and JPRers are going to be in a tail spin for a bit. Won't last long. The hate will be back 10 fold.

Yes....I saw the posts about her feet to the fire. They find a catchy phrase and stick to it.

What will the Admins do? Hmmm.

pursue other avenues of insult. Plus AAs are a much smaller percentage of the population than women and rarely vote Republican. Republicans knew they could piss off pretty much every AA and still win the next election. The other racial groups who would sympathize with the AAs were likely Dem voters who couldn't be swayed anyway.

A certain group we are always talking about will lose their minds. At least Trump has torn open the GOP and hurt it in ways only stupidity and hatred can. He will blunder off to court after the election.

Probably fuck that one up too.

...both have been/will be treated with terrible disrespect for the reasons you cite.

I think it will be worse for Hillary, though, in large part because they've seen her as a threat for much longer than they did Barack.

They almost had to start at square one in hating and despising him when his campaign became a serious threat to them in 2008.

Hillary, they had a major, multiple-year head start in hating.
