3. Point Taken. Quote from Walter Cronkite; the pivotal moment in the Vietnam War:

For it seems now more certain than ever that the bloody experience of Vietnam is to end in a stalemate. This summer's almost certain standoff will either end in real give-and-take negotiations or terrible escalation; and for every means we have to escalate, the enemy can match us, and that applies to invasion of the North, the use of nuclear weapons, or the mere commitment of one hundred, or two hundred, or three hundred thousand more American troops to the battle. And with each escalation, the world comes closer to the brink of cosmic disaster.

It is stunning to me that so many younger Americans don't understand the history of the wars of the 20th century. Thanks for bringing this bit of US history into focus.

I'm from Texas and you'd be shocked and devastated to know how many women in 2016 think that they "belong" to their husband

but Stirewalt was and is on the decision desk team for Fox. Over several election cycles, he is one of the people who make the election night calls.

He walked back Karl Rove's nonsense on election night 2012. Rove himself has now all but counted Trump out now too.

Anyway, Stirewalt is all about the data and the evidence, not conspiracy theorists.

Weird...

There's reasonable words on the page and no nasty comments on the bottom...
