The big story of the 2016 post mortem will be that the Trump team had no idea what the fuck they were doing, and that running an amateur for President is a bit like starting your Little Leaguer on the mound in the World Series.

Even if the Little Leaguer wanted to learn how to become a starting MLB pitcher, he simply couldn't do it in the time required. It was structurally impossible from go. That he also didn't want to learn is funny, but inessential. The idea of running an outsider with no political experience for President is insane and stupid and structurally analogous to starting a child in the World Series.
