No Republicans in Hillary's administration

No Republican cabinets members.

No Republican agency heads.

I'm told there are some "good Republicans" scattered around in senior positions. Maybe. But no more. Coney has demonstrated that he's willing to destroy a candidate for political reasons and, I'll bet, personal gain.

No more republicans.

1. Chauncey DeVega over at Alternet has an insightful post related to this:

Politics in America have become increasingly dysfunctional in large part because the Democratic Party is chasing an extremist Republican Party further to the right in an effort to find ground for compromise and agreement. In this way, conservatives win by losing. This is contrary to the will of the vast majority of Americans who have rejected the policies offered by the Republican Party and Trump across a range of issues.

I usually like DeVega, but if I'm reading this right, I think he's wrong.

Dems haven't been chasing Republicans anywhere. Their nice to the extreme right was due essentially to the election if the first black president. And so called moderate republicans failed to speak up, as they are failing to speak up now.

The Clinton "Third Way" was nothing but a chase to the right in some fool's errand to pick up 'moderate' Republicans left behind as the GOP went radical to insane. The Left was told, in essence, "who else can you vote for?" There's a reason we've never recovered from the massive shift to the Right in the 80s, like other Western democracies. The Democrats should have practiced the politics of unification but instead bought into the politics of division and "win-lose." That's why we got George Dumbya Bush. But George was the reason we got Obama.

She also needs to root out every fucking Republican-sympathizer in her administration and fire their asses. All of them.

How successful were Obama's efforts at bipartisanship? They treated him with nothing but contempt for 8 years.

Lesson learned.

Republican leaders who did this.

This question also speaks to the issue of weather Republicans show a history of resistance to right-wing craziness.

Only the Democrats have this hang-up with "bipartisanship." Nice idea in theory, but disastrously self-defeating in practice. No more! I want the GOP to be estranged from any position of power in Washington for the next 50 years at least. To hell with them and their damn fool "supporters"
